FOUNDATION'S FOCUS ON THE CARIBBEAN

The Sandals Foundation was created to expand upon the work of Sandals Resorts International and aims to unite the Caribbean region under one common goal: to elevate its people and protect its delicate ecosystem.

The Sandals Foundation seeks to harness the resources, talents, partnerships and awareness behind the Sandals Resorts brand to tackle a myriad of issues affecting the Caribbean under three broad headings: Community, Education and Environment.

With more than 7,000 community and guest volunteers and 10,000 team members to date, the Sandals Foundation delivers outreach projects in Saint Lucia, the Bahamas, Antigua, the Turks and Caicos Islands and Jamaica. The non-profit organisation also engages colleagues to promote sustainable development and positive relationships in the communities served by the Sandals Foundation.

The Sandals Foundation, established in 2009, believes in the preservation of the Caribbean’s unique surroundings. While continuing many of the community programmes that have demonstrated a long history of success, the the foundation is also committed to taking a leadership role in developing ground-breaking initiatives with the public and private sectors.
